I am off again, this time with 5 good friends, on a 18 day visit to some of the highlights of Japan, from the urban metropolis of Tokyo to the serene Buddhist hilltop of Koya-san and many places in between. With our friend Bill along, who has a professional lifelong relationship with the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, we are seeing what we can of the remaining buildings by an American icon with a deep connection to the aesthetics of Japan. What a great group of traveling companions! With Pat, Ginny, Claudia, Trisha and Bill, I realize I am surrounded by good people I have known from 30-67 years! Good times ahead!
