I have arrived into Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, August 19, 2022, despite the COVID curse that has upended so much of our lives, and personal family health issues that have consumed most of my time in the last 3 years. My travel companions this time are my childhood friend Pat, a friend and fellow explorer, Jack, and Amy, a new friend from Oakland. We will spend the next 2 weeks together on a private tour into some of the iconic areas of this large and sparsely populated country. Join us on our travels!
